THE WOMB WISDOM APPROACH

This training offers a more feminine approach to yoga, one that honours the cyclical nature of the female body. Instead of pushing or overriding your body, you’ll learn to listen, adapt, and move in harmony with your natural rhythms.

    • Work with your body, not against it

    • Understand your menstrual cycle as a source of power

    • Learn to adapt yoga to hormonal and energetic shifts

    • Reconnect with your body as a source of wisdom

This training centres around the understanding that women are cyclical beings. By learning to work with the phases of your cycle, you can support your physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

Rachel trained as an Ayurvedic and Lifestyle Therapist with the European Institute of Vedic Studies under Vaidya Atreya Smith. I received a certificate of Advanced Clinical Study in Ayurveda from the Vinayak Ayurveda and Panchakarma Research Foundation in Nagpur, India in 2011. I made several return trips to Nagpur to further my training in Ayurvedic treatments, including a four week internship assisting with Panchakarma. My primary interest and passion in Ayurveda has always been woman’s health and to expand in this, I completed the “Healthier Hormones” course with Dr. Claudia Welch. Following completion of this course, I successfully completed a Mentorship program with Dr. Welch to further expand my studies on woman’s health. I am committed to helping women understand their sacred, cyclical natures and returning to health and balance by working with their own bodies. I created the Women’s Health package to empower my female clients to understand how their bodies and hormones work, so they can take their health back into their own hands.

Adrienne is an Ayurveda Therapist, Nervous System Nurturer, Yoga Teacher & Trainer based in Wexford, Ireland. Adrienne's love for yoga began over 30 years ago, as a business student in Dublin, when she stepped onto a yoga mat & immediately felt home. It was during her first yoga Teacher Training at Earthwise in 2016, that she encountered Ayurveda through guest teacher Rachel Collins. Thus began Adrienne's twin journey with Yoga & Ayurveda. She admits that it has not been a smooth path, faced with many challenges, yet it’s been a homecoming to herself & her true life’s path.

Adrienne's love for continuous learning, facilitation & teaching has brought her through many trainings, including Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Krama Yoga & Ayurveda, Vedic Philosophy, Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda Therapies & Ayurveda Wellness Coach, & much more. Having lived experience of chronic Nervous System dysregulation, her work is centred around Nervous System Care with daily practices of nourishment, movement, regulation & self-love. Adrienne's passion is Nervous System Nurturing - supporting women through life changes with Ayurveda, Yoga & Nervous System care.

My work is about rooting the feminine spirit in to the present moment in a way that feels authentic, warm, and deeply human. I create spaces where people can soften, connect, and remember who they are beneath the noise. I've always been drawn to spaces of connection - where people feel safe enough to open, express, and be seen. Over time, my work has evolved beyond traditional yoga into something more embodied, intuitive, and relational. Like all of us, I've dealt with trauma and loss. I've been shown again and again that grief can indeed be beautiful, and transformative too.

In recent years I've been cultivating a more playful and expressive practice, exploring things such as wild yoga, dance, art, eros, and attending many beautiful collaborative gatherings where I've been shown what it means to truly belong. It's my wish for us all to feel that sense of belonging - within our bodies, within our communities, and here on this land. The deepest part of me knows that we can all walk this path of reclaiming our authenticity to reveal our true nature. Each of us has an infinite amount of potential, we just need to be willing to take that first step and then surrender to the dance.

Alongside my formal training, my personal journey through pregnancy, homebirth, and motherhood, has deeply informed her work - inviting a deeper relationship with trust, surrender, and the wisdom of the body.

WORDS FROM PAST PARTICIPANTS…

  • I’ve had such an enjoyable and uplifting experience taking part in the Womb medicine yoga teacher training. I’ve learned so much about women’s health, the science behind the natural cycles of a woman’s life, how to track my cycle, and how to use yoga and Ayurveda to support me through every stage, from menstruation, to pregnancy, to menopause. After this course I realised just how much information about women’s health should be common knowledge, yet so many women seem to be left in the dark, feeling scared, lonely or ashamed to speak up and ask about it. Or at least that was my experience. Clara offers a safe space to come together and explore such vital topics while providing deeply healing yogic practices and wisdoms to support us on our journey. And in the process I’ve met the most incredible group of ladies along the way. Having such a warm, genuine and friendly circle of women to connect with every month was a healing and heartwarming experience that I will treasure for the rest of my life. During these 9 months I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the true love and devotion that Clara has poured into creating this teacher training, and I am deeply moved by her offering. She is truly a wonderful teacher, facilitator and a beautiful soul. My only regret on this course is not having the chance to do it sooner. I have learned much on this course that I will carry with me for the rest of my life and will use everyday. It has completely changed my life for the better. I cannot recommend this YTT enough, to every woman, whether you plan to teach yoga or just wish to do it for your own experience. Thank you so much to Clara and all the wonderful guest speakers on the course. I am forever grateful ❤️

Lara Guthrie - Womb Medicine Teacher Training

  • I have just completed the Womb Medicine Yoga Teacher Training with Clara from Earthwise Yoga. To say I have been on a journey would be an understatement. There have been many ups and downs in the last 10 months, but having this training every month felt like a call back to inner peace. The weekends at Earthwise felt like a homecoming, a remembrance of something we’ve all forgotten. Which is our deeply intuitive connection to our bodies, and its knowledge. There is a lot of information in this training, combining Yoga, Ayurveda and Womb Wisdom, but it all ties together beautifully. Having only just begun to learn about my menstrual cycle in the last two years, the information regarding women’s health and the womb’s significance in women’s lives is something that we should all know. It is also beautiful to be able to adjust your Yoga asana practice to support your cycle, reminding us that we are not small men, we are women. Knowing, and being able to work with and honour the rhythms of our bodies is such a beautiful and empowering way to reclaim our power. As women the connection to our wombs has been deeply severed, and this training course helps us to begin to heal that connection and come back into harmony with our bodies, our cycles, and ourselves. Ayurveda is very supportive of this and the practice of Dinacharya (daily routine), is the perfect introduction to reclaiming our womb health and coming back to working with the rhythms of our bodies. I thought I would be learning how to teach yoga for women, but I have learned so much more, and I realise the more I learn, the less I know. Which draws me deeper into this work. Clara teaches this course with so much passion and lived experience, I can’t wait to train with her again and deepen my knowledge even more. I would highly recommend this course, not just to those wishing to become Yoga Teachers, but to every woman. Learning how our bodies work and reconnecting with our wombs is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and this world, and is long overdue. Thank you Clara!
